Hi, I’m Dr. Randy Grinter, a naturopathic doctor and a chiropractor. I created Naturally Efficient Healthcare to make an opportunity to serve and heal others.
From a young age, God called me towards the medical field. I had significant health struggles in my infancy, which drew my parents towards alternative medicine as conventional medicine fell short. Under the care of a gifted homeopath, Dr. Abram Ber, my body was given the chance to heal. Shortly thereafter, my parents and I begun receiving chiropractic care from Dr. Barry Goldberg, complementing these holistic medical visits. Both were extremely influential in my life and allowed me to grow up healthy and happy, able to enjoy a blessed childhood.
As I grew older, the affinity for science and medicine became a clear calling in my life. I attended Judson University, a private Christian school in Elgin, Illinois, where my faith and knowledge flourished. It was here as well, that I met my lovely wife, Nancy. After 3 amazing years, I graduated with a degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Biblical Studies.
I began attending National University of Health Sciences the following fall semester, seeking a dual-degree in Naturopathic and Chiropractic medicine. It was a clear choice in my mind. The doctors, of whom I had the privilege of being a patient and eventually a pupil, left a permanent mark. My goal will forever be to live up to the standard that they have set.
To no surprise (otherwise you would not be reading this), I graduated from NUHS. The surprise came with a vivid calling to move to Idaho, and start NEH. Having grown up in Arizona, I always thought I would move back there, but God opened other doors.
I am now very excited to be a part of the larger Boise community with the opportunity to serve you. With NEH, I have sought to create a new kind of healthcare. One that breaks down barriers and offers care to everyone who needs it. One that returns to the roots of medicine as a service oriented practice. And so that we may to live out the words of Jesus Christ:
“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 7:12 NIV)
